Richard Šusta was born in 1956 in Prague. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague, where he works at the Department of Control Engineering.
In 2003, he defended his PhD in mathematics on formal verification of programs.
For decades, he has worked on developing PLC programs for industrial production control and trained their service personnel.
He specializes in the design of advance logic circuit using FPGA chips.
He likes sea sailing and banging on the keyboard. He has created several educational materials and programs, writes science fiction literature as a hobby, and has already published eight novels and several short stories.
